Sara Wilson is a poet and a journeyman sheet metal technician.
She earned her BA in 2008 at Vancouver Island University with a major in Creative Writing and a minor in Visual Arts. She continues to study independently.
Her poetry has appeared in a growing number of literary journals including Portal, Dinosaur Porn, Slim Volume, and White Stag.
As a tradeswoman, Sara’s technical training took place at Camosun College and she earned her Red Seal in 2015.
Her accomplishments within the sheet metal trade have earned her multiple awards including the John Drysdale Memorial Award and the Ronald Taylor Memorial Trophy. She is a proud union member of SMWIA Local 276.
Sara Wilson is a also novice cellist and opera enthusiast.
